For the very youngest and beginners, the adventure starts with gentle turns on Lappbergsbacken and Teknikbacken, where confidence grows with every run. Step by step, we let you advance at your own pace, all the way up to the untouched feeling and steep slope of Svarta Björn.

For those of you who long to venture beyond the corduroy trails and into the off-piste, you will find your little paradise right here. From the first, safe powder turns on the gentle slopes near the golf course to challenging lines through gnarled mountain birches and playful drops, Björkliden's off-piste has something that will make everyone's heart beat a little faster.

Known for its massive amounts of snow and boldly rolling terrain, here you will find Sweden's most iconic off-piste and untouched powder fields, side by side with sweeping runs and safe slopes where the whole family can find their joy of skiing.

But the magic does not end when spring arrives. The winter here is prolonged far beyond what seems possible, and when May and June make their entrance, ski boots are swapped for a rush of freedom under the blazing sun. Feel the dizzying sensation of carving the year's softest turns in a T-shirt on the May snow, and then wrap up the season at Midsummer — where you ski in the middle of the night under the glowing light of the midnight sun and celebrate with like-minded people with your ski boots still on your feet. Riksgränsen is not just a destination; it is an arctic dream that stays in your heart forever.

At Riksgränsen all levels are welcome; we have ski and snowboard instructors trained in the Alps at the highest level for the truly advanced skier, as well as giving beginners, intermediates, and families the opportunity to learn together. We recommend bringing your family or friends on a private guided off-piste tour – of course, we tailor the difficulty level to the younger and less experienced members in the group.

In December, you glide through the blue-shimmering twilight of the polar night beneath a dancing aurora borealis, while in March you feel total freedom as you dive deep into the season's crispiest powder snow.
