The mountain lodge can be reached in several ways. In winter, you can hike the 9 kilometers on touring or alpine touring skis, feel the speed and breeze on a snowmobile, or ride comfortably in the tracked carriage. In summer, you can hike or cycle. Around the mountain lodge, the only limit to your activities is your imagination. Låktatjåkko Mountain Lodge is a unique facility offering accommodations with 18 beds in 10 rooms, Sweden’s highest restaurant and bar, a sauna, and showers, all in the middle of roadless wilderness. For conferences, the entire mountain station is reserved exclusively for your group.

Staying overnight at Låktajåkko
The Height of Luxury
We offer accommodations with 18 beds across 10 rooms. Each room includes a washbasin, while showers and toilets are shared and located in the corridor. Breakfast and a 2-course dinner are included in the price. Guests are required to bring their own bed linen, but we also offer cotton travel sheets from the Cocoon brand at a reduced price.

Sweden’s highest restaurant and bar is located 9 kilometers from Björkliden. Nestled between two mountain peaks in roadless wilderness, 1,228 meters above sea level, you’ll find a restaurant you never thought existed.
If you visit during lunchtime, we recommend trying the legendary ‘Låkta waffle.’ The bar also offers a well-stocked selection of drinks.
For a truly exceptional experience, we recommend staying overnight at the mountain lodge. Your stay includes a two-course dinner, prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients and enhanced with local flavours from Sápmi. The next morning, you can enjoy our breakfast buffet in the restaurant or outdoors under the sun.
